Extended Day Program

St. Mary Magdalen School is dedicated to creating a safe learning environment for our students not only during our regular school day, but also for those students and families who may be in need of extra time on campus.  The Extended Day Program allows parents the flexibility to have students on campus from 7:00am to 6:00pm on a daily basis as needed. 

 

Students are able to be dropped off as early as 7:00am and can either be dropped off in car line or walked into the school.  The Before School Program is located in the school hall and runs from 7:00am until 7:45am at which point students are dismissed to their homerooms to start the day. There is no charge for the Before School Program. 

 

The After School Program begins immediately following dismissal every day with the exceptions of the day before Christmas vacation, the day before Easter vacation, and the last day of school.  During the program, students have time to begin their homework, enjoy organized and free choice play, as well as have a snack.  Supervision is provided until 6:00pm.  The program is billed at $5.00 per hour to the nearest 15 minutes.  Discounts for students who attend daily and for families are also available.  

 

Please note that students must be signed out of the After School Program by a parent, legal guardian, or someone listed as an emergency contact as recorded by the office.  In order to pick up your child from the After School Program, please contact the program phone at 805.469.1072 as the front gate will be locked.
